vanessa's spaceI am having a girl!!! April 30 bored, and nothing really to do...Well, I am just in one of those moods to just write and not really write about anything. Today I went to the store with Philip and got some more baby stuff. Just a few things I think we need like some pacifiers and something for the baby to sleep on. It is kinda like a sponge. I don't really plan on having the baby sleep in the room with Phil and I because we have a cat that likes to sleep on the bed and I ijust don't think it would be a good idea for the baby and cat plus Phil and I in the room or on the bed... We have a friend who let us borrow a bassinet, but it is just so dirty that I would rather not use it. I don't have much time to clean it up since I am so close to my due date.
Phil says I can have the baby any time I want now...
Well, I should get going and try to get some things done around the house like laundry... See ya!
Here is a picture of Lily... I think she is so cute! April 26 and then... nothing... So, I went in to see the doctor yesterday to see how close I am to delivering. Anyways, when he checked my cervix it was only 50% effaced... That means I wasn't even dialated. I was sorta dissapointed, I heard lots of people at 38 weeks are at least dialated to a 1. I am 39 weeks pregnant and not dialated at all. The doctor said that things could happen fast though. I have an appointment next week so I will see what happens if I don't go into labor by then. The due date again is May 4, but right now we are just expecting the baby to come possibly a week after.
April 25 Just waiting... Well, today is April 24, 2007. I am due on May 4, 2007... So that is only 10 days away. Phil and I have been thinking of names now for a little while and we have still have not come up with anything yet. I am leaning towards Olivia Joju and Phil is leaning more towards Sophia Ruth. I guess we will just have to wait and see what happens when she is born. I have been looking online about when you know you are in labor and what to expect since I did not take any birthing classes, and I am going to admit that some of the stuff I found is disturbing. It makes me not want to give birth and yet I don't really care to be pregnant anymore. But anyways, here is a picture of the ultrasound!!! She was 20 weeks here...
